Decided I'd try both Flamingo and...
Decided I'd try both Flamingo and Sahara (just down the street) for some comparison shopping on a Monday evening. As I kinda expected, the talent at both clubs was pretty weak since it was a Monday. In fact, at Flamingo I didn't really see anyone I wanted a dance from. It was around 7 or 8pm on a Monday, and the club was pretty dead. Only a handful of customers, and maybe 8 dancers. I was also a bit surprised at how many dancers told me they'd only been there for a few months or less. Not sure if that's just coincidence, but I generally steer clear of new dancers because they probably haven't yet gotten into the mileage groove. I'm having trouble remembering the individual dancers since they were all average or below. And I was a bit put off by the high pressure sales pitch given by most of the dancers I talked to. Either they wanted me to buy them drinks or go to the VIP, neither of which I am interested in.
Anyway, the visit was overall pretty disappointing. Surprisingly, none of the dancers gave me the Flamingo handshake, which is one of my favorite features of the Flamingo. I finally ended up getting some $10 laps from an average looking girl who I sensed might be high mileage. Her dances were pretty high mileage, but I just wasn't feeling her. But what put me off was that after 2 dances she told me it had been 3 dances. And when I asked for change for my $20 bill she said she doesn't have it. So I was out $40 for two $10 dances. She immediately went on my black list, and would never be doing dances for me again. I should have complained, but I wasn't in the mood.
After that a very skinny black girl (I'm partial to black girls) was pressuring me to buy her a drink. Not directly, but talking about how guys don't buy the girls drinks, blah blah blah. And she had only been working there a month or two, so I immediately shut her down.
