I was passing through Atlanta in the early afternoon and thought a strip club visit would be a nice break from the road. Recent experiences told me the clubs on Cheshire Bridge wouldn’t be up and running yet, the Cheetah was not worth the cost, The Oasis was too far out of my way, and the Follies would likely be too crowded. Since the Diamond Club was right off I-75, I thought I would give it a shot.

The club layout isn’t that impressive. It has one long bar and 2 stages at either end. Only one of the stages was in use when I was there. Because of the layout, sitting at the bar didn’t give a great view of the stage. There were a few tables, but no one seemed to be using them, so I decided to sit at the bar as well. Later when one of the seats at the active end opened, I moved down for a better view.

There were only a few dancers working. They weren’t the hottest I’ve ever seen, but they seemed friendly and weren’t very pushy. The cutest on I saw (probably a 6 or 7) stopped to chat. We talked for a while and she offered a dance. Table dances were $10, private ones were $40, and VIPs were available, but much higher. I’m not Clark Howard or anything, but I decided to be thrift and just go the $10 route, since this was my first visit. As I expected, the table dance was the standard Atlanta nude air dance; not significantly more than you would get from sitting stage side.
