Rick’s looks very impressive from the street. First though you are greeted by a giant billboard for Rick’s on the cab ride over from the airport to the French Quarter. Once you find the club on Bourbon and see the presentation in their window you think, wow this will be a fun club. You walk in and it’s fairly large and well lit. When I went the place was packed and busy. Several stages but not much was going on there. I sat down and waited for about 8 minutes until my drink order was taken. I waited another 10 minutes before I left. The waitress never came back. The club is very clean, I will give them that but it’s a waste of time to go.

The dancers all seemed to be very attractive but I got the strong impression that this club was very tame compared to the other clubs on Bourbon street. By that I mean the dancers didn’t take much off and they certainly would not go much beyond some lapdances and overpriced trips to the VIP rooms. Skip this one and opt for some better clubs like Barely Legal.
