I stopped in at Stars Salem...

I stopped in at Stars Salem after a somewhat disappointing visit to Presley's. Stars is an old restaurant that's been remodeled into a strip club. The interior of the Salem location is not as glitzy as the Stars in Tigard and Beaverton, but it's nice and clean. It's not a dive. It reminds me a bit of a country bar with strippers.

Happy hour here on a Saturday was from four to six. Well drinks were $3.75, which is a dollar less than normal price. A Blue Moon was $3.50. I think there was another beer special too. The waitress was surprisingly slow in getting to me.

When I walked in, only one of the two stages was running. I dropped a couple of bucks on the rail and sat down at a table near the stage. Around six they opened the second stage. That one is right next to the door to the outdoor smoking area. As a result, every time someone enters or exits the stage gets blasted with light from outside. It's quite distracting.
