I had a free afternoon and was reasonably close by, so I decided to visit Desire. This was my third visit and I've found the club to be clean, classy and reasonably low pressure. There are two stages on the main floor, a primary stage and a smaller side stage which has never been in use on any of my visits. I especially appreciate their "free" lunches, typically a hot plate of the dish du jour, free for the asking once you've purchased a drink at the bar. One complaint, none of my three meals had any green vegetables- but fine if you're a meat and potatoes kind of guy.

I settled in at the bar with my food and a nice martini (full bar) which I think was $9, and made to my liking, quite dry. After eating, I proceeded to the stage and was able to talk to many of the dancers as there were not many customers at 2-3:00 on a Sat afternoon. I then retreated to a comfortable chair after spending $25 or so in tips, had a beer and was approached by most of the 4-5 dancers I had chatted with earlier. All made it clear I was welcome to join them for a semi-private lap dance or for a longer stay in the Champagne Room(s). I decided to save my remaining $$ for the CR, and I'm really glad I did.

I found that most of the ladies were solid 6's or 7's with a couple of 8's, quite friendly and talkative, not overly pushy. I chose one of the 8's, a tall, thin, leggy blonde who absolutely did not disappoint once we shared some private time. I've been to three of the Providence-area clubs and this is my favorite thus far. I've heard that one or two of the other clubs are a bit less money, but I'll definitely visit Desire on my next trip to the Ocean State. Great value, great women, great time!
