I swung by Club Fantasies a...

I swung by Club Fantasies a couple afternoons or so and I'm wondering just what happened. On the positive side, I dig the new decor--it's exotic and classy. And there was no cover for either the main area or Fantasy Island (all nude) upstairs (maybe the doorman just didn't notice me?). And the leather chairs upstairs are always comfortable to relax in and watch the show (either the dancers or the NCAA game).

But it went downhill from there. Drinks are dropping in quality--$7 now got me a small, watered-down vodka & soda. The dancers even more so--there were maybe 4 attractive women and 4 average. A couple blondes, a few brunettes, a Brazilian girl (judging by the accent), a black girl, and I think an Asian girl too. Most of them were either talking to each other or some 60 year old, a couple were fiddling with their phones. One was dancing and chatting up some frat boy types. Few interested in conversation, unless they wanted to say "Hi, I'm XXXX, how about a dollar?" (I wasn't even sitting at the stage at the time!) Got a decent LD from the Asian (Delilah, IIRC) for 30 including tip but nothing to write home about. All this got my friends and I out of my free spending, let-the-good-times-roll mindset that I went in with.

I lost credibility as I had told my friends this was a great place. Well it was, a year ago. If only Club Desire dancers actually interacted with non-regulars, or Cheaters cleaned itself up.
