Scarlett's is located on 7th St in an industrial part of Ybor. Not really a bad area, just pretty deserted at the times I've been there. The cover was $15 and there's a one drink minimum, though if it's busy you may be able to sneak by without buying an overpriced water. Once inside it's a pretty decent looking, clean, average-sized place with one stage in the middle of the club and big fat comfortable chairs surrounding it. There are a few flat screen tv's around the club tuned to a couple different sports channels (for when the less than average girls are on stage). There are 2-3 VIP areas with nice couches overlooking the stage but rarely see anyone using them. Every 30-45 minutes they have a roll call with all the ladies on stage which is followed by a dance special. Usually 3 dances for $50, or they'll have $1 lap dances where the dancers walk around the room and give short, spirited little lap dances, kind of like musical-chairs (or laps). Taking a dancer for a private dance costs $10 for the private "room" which is a small curtained-off cubicle with comfortable seating and enough room to stretch out. With the exception of the prior mentioned specials, each lap dance is $20 which seems to be the average in this area. You also have the option of buying your dancer a drink (they're usually $5-6). "Extras" can be had depending on the girl and whether or not management is keeping watch that night.

The quality of the dancers is consistently pretty good. If I had to guess there's probably at least 15-20 dancers on a Saturday night, and there are as many truly hot dancers as there are mediocre ones, with a few average girls sprinkled in the middle. Katherine would be one of the more attractive dancers (Playboy quality in my opinion), with a very slight and sexy Czech Republic accent, and an athletic, toned body you'd expect of a lot of women from Eastern Europe. She comes across as very genuine and seems to enjoy what she does and it makes the experience that much more pleasurable. Aside from her I don't remember any of the other girl's names. The is one statuesque black girl who has a tall, curvy, perfectly proportioned body and pretty face (although she wears a little too much makeup) who gives great dances (and occasional extras). Another stunning girl looks like she might be half white, half Puerto Rican with B-cup perfectly shaped breasts and an ass that would bring a tear to your eye, and she knows how to work that ass (gotta love those Latinas). On the other end the one memorable dud is this older white lady who seems to enjoy using the smothering strategy of getting guys to take her back for dances. She'll approach you and chat you up a little then parks in your lap for the next 20 minutes making small talk while other more attractive girls walk by. It worked once on me and she gives decent lap dances but nothing that would keep me coming back for more. There's also the occasional drugged up girl who might have been attractive once upon a time before she got hooked on whatever she's on now. One of those types fell asleep on a friend of mine one night, I believe she even started snoring. It was hilarious.

I would recommend this club to friends (or strangers, lol) and its the club I head back to when the others seem less than average or way too overcrowded (2001 or Mons Venus).
