I wouldn't say I'm a regular but this is my go to SC in NYC. A bit out of the way but the subway gets you close enough, about 20 minutes from Grand Central. As others have noted there are more Latinas in the afternoon and Eastern Europeans at night. Some of the daytime crew have been there for ages so if you want fresh faces go at night. Girls start to filter in for shift change beginning around 7:30 pm. A good time to go is 6 or so, to catch the end of the day shift and get in before the cover charge at 8. Don't feel bad about hanging back from the bar if you don't want to partake in the dollar parade.
