It had been a long time...

It had been a long time since I've been to the Player's Club, so I figured I'd stop by. The parking lot was better lit than I remembered and they've also changed the lap dance area since I'd been there, with booths now instead of a wide open lap dance area. It's still BYOB so you'll definitely save money with that.

I got there not long after it opened for the night and there weren't many other customers in there with me yet, and maybe about a dozen dancers. It wasn't long after I'd arrived that Chanel came up and introduced herself to me. Before long we went to the back and I had a great time in the lap dance room with her. She's very attractive and super friendly. But from here my night took a complete nosedive. (I'm just going to use the first letter of the dancer's names that I had an unpleasant experience with.) I then went to do some lap dances with "S", but I would say her lap dances were more akin to wrestling an alligator than anything sensual or enjoyable. After that, I dusted myself off and returned to my seat to finish my drinks and took a little breather before being approached by "C", who was friendly and attractive and spent a little time sitting with me and getting to know me. But when we went back to do some lap dances, my opinion of her did a 180 when she began trying to tell me how many dances she expected me to buy (3-5) and to top it all off during our second lap dance rudely instructing me what my tip for her was expected to be ($50), both cardinal sins when it comes to strip clubs in my opinion. What little interest I had in staying ended with that. I returned to my seat, quickly finished off my drink and left.

Make no mistake about it, the girls were drop dead gorgeous, and the club does have a nice atmosphere despite being small. This was my fourth time ever going to the Player's Club, and in fairness the other three times I had an absolute blast. But that was at least two years ago, so I'm not sure if I just went on a bad night or if the club has changed for the worse. Looking at the other recent reviews of the club, more likely I just picked a bad night. When I purchased the yearly membership I had imagined this club possibly becoming a semi-regular stop for me, but now I just feel like I wasted money on a membership card that I won't have any desire to use again before it expires in 12 months, considering the quality of clubs in the same neighborhood that I've never had ANY instances of girls trying to upsell the cost of the dances.
