In years past, I would visit Sugars on any business trip to Austin. However, I've been away for several years and I came back for another visit. It was a huge disappointment.

Its true that I don't like being hounded the second I walk in the door. But my recent experience at Sugars was quite the opposite in a bad way! I couldn't get a dancer to come by at all! I waited and waited and waited, even though there were girls there, nobody was working it. Not even the waitresses. Most places the waitress is taking your order practically the second you get past the hostess. After waiting about 30 minutes I eventually went to the bar and wave at the bartender to get a drink. Terrible terrible customer service.

I spent $10 cover, $6 on a beer from the bar. Sat for 90 minutes never approached by waitress or dancer and walked out with a wallet full of $20's.
