Stopped by last Sunday afternoon with...

Stopped by last Sunday afternoon with a couple of buddies from out-of-town. They were looking for some high-mileage fun before heading over to see the talent at Bourbon Street, so I took them to Bandaids.

No cover, and a few dancers were sitting at the bar drinking and mingling with the crowd. The room to the left of the bar with the stage is small - about 4 or 5 round tables with chairs lining 3 walls. Most of the chairs were filled, many with regulars getting dancers from their ATF, so we grabbed a table in the middle.

Drinks were 2 for 1, so we ordered a round and were then approached by a number of the dancers. We each took a turn getting a dance along the wall. Contact was good, dancers were friendly, but most dancers were in their late 30s and a bit out of shape. Not a bad time though, and it primed us for the next stop.
