Had been to Carl's several times during the early evening fashion shows and had heard about the late nights when the "independants" show up after midnight on Friday and Saturday. So last Friday I checked it out. I rolled in about 11:45 to a fairly crowded bar, lots of smoke and pool players and no seats. About two or three girls dancing- no other women in the bar ( except an overworked bartender). There was no cover charge. After midnight a few more girls started working the floor but the others left so it was an even exchange. After waiting around for about 45 minutes finally got a dance from a dancer who offered a 10 or 20 dollar dance. I went for the 20 and it was OK but not really great, but since there were no other options you gotta go for it. The other dancer came by and offered up an uninspired 10 dollar job. The first girl cae back for another 20 dollar deal during which she offered up a private show for $300/hr anywhere I wanted to meet. I declined. Summary- Go here with your pool playing smoking buddies and watch a bunch of other guys and occassionaly get a lame dance.
