Well I finally made it back...

Well I finally made it back to Detroit (the old job used to send me there once a month, the new job just set up shop there). After a few initial visits to the city, I finally got out and figued I'd try Booby Trap if for nothing else than the fun name. Here goes....

THE CLUB: 4

Fairly small, not really much of a 'strip' club. Seperate VIP area, although not really seperate. You can see the entire thing on your way to the john. Clean enough. Lighting was a bit too bright for me. 1 bouncer, although he seemed to be pretty lax, not a goon. Coat check girl(the best looking girl in the place BTW) doubled at the wait staff, so it was fairly low pressure to keep the drinks churning. There was this other girl who came around with a basket of flowers, and another with tooter shots....kind of wierd to see in a lower-rent joint like this. I shot them both down(hey man, if I don't buy my wife flowers, I sure ain't buying one for these girls) and they took it pretty well natured. Fellow customers seemed to be regulars. 5$ cover, 2$ coat check, 6$ beer. There is a fee for parking but I'm not sure what it is since I parked on the street(3 or 4 bucks is Detroit avg.) Park on the street and ditch your coat in the car and hold off on ordering a beer and you can get in and out fairly cheap. Sit and drink for a while and you might wish you went somewhere else up the street.
