I went to Dreamgirls at Ricks...

I went to Dreamgirls at Ricks on a Thursday night, arriving around 9 and leaving close to midnight. There was a $20 cover, which includes a "bottomless" drink -- which just means that a waitress will come by every once in a while wherever you're sitting and see if you're thirsty. Like all clubs in seattle, no alcohol is served here. When I first arrived, there were maybe 4 guys and 6 girls in the club, but it increased to 15 or so of both genders by the time I left at midnight. There was a center stage where the girls took turns giving stripteases and getting completely nude that was used all night. Later on in the night, a stage towards the back of the room started to be used as well.

The atmosphere was cozy, and all of the girls that I talk to were friendly and courteous. I only felt like I was hustled by one of them -- the rest were happy to sit in your lap and chat for a few songs before going back and getting a dance. There were plenty of girls that I'd rate at an 8 or a 9 around, and ethnicities were well represented (I got dances from girls with asian, african, and portugese ancestry that night). Dances on the floor are $20/song. The private rooms are $30/song, and the luxury rooms are in the range from $150/15 minutes to $400/hour as I recall (I'm not certain that I remember the rates correctly though... I wasn't looking to blow more than $200 when I went).

The girls pretty much set their own rules for lap dances. I had dancers who ranged from "no touching" to "don't feel under my clothes" to "do whatever you want, but don't touch my vagina." Ask what their limits are. On the whole, I thought they were very accommodating. Most importantly, once an hour or so, the DJ will offer a 2-for-1 dance special (private booth dance, that is, so $30), and around midnight (maybe 11?), they bring all of the girls onstage for you to choose one for a 3-for-1 special. Take advantage those offers. You might even want to tell your girl that you're waiting for a specials before you'll buy a dance -- it looks like they can be flexible on their prices, and they might spring the special for you even without the club's official deal going on. I definitely had a good time.
