After a fairly dull trip to the Gentlemen's Club on a trip to Charlotte with my girl (see that review for more), we decided to give the Men's Club a shot. They were advertising free admission if you were wearing green (St. Patrick's Day), but still had to pay the 10 dollar cover. The building itself sets far back off Tyvola, but you can still see it from the road if you're looking for it. Physically, it's impressive (and a little intimidating) but extremely cramped inside, with tables everywhere and little room to maneuver around, especially if it is a packed night (which it was). Not a typical "strip club" but absolutely fits as a "men's club", with the normal SC stage replaced by a walkway usually seen on fashion shows and such. 1 girl on stage at a time, with 3 others (the 3 before her) doing "cage" dances around the club for 2 song sets. The rest of the time, the dancers roam around, giving lap dances and such. No alcoholic drinks (since it was after 2am when we got there), so can't comment on those prices. However, at 6 bucks for a bottle of water, I can only imagine the price of a good mixed drink. Dancer quality was really good, with a mix of races and specific body types (though no redheads, which was kind of disappointing, we asked specifically about them and were shot down). Ended up getting a couples dance, which was pretty good for a dance in the public area (good grindage, especially on my girl). Didn't partake in the buffet, though it did look pretty impressive, or any VIP dances. Security was present everywhere, almost with a CIA/Secret Service feel (with suits and earpieces). Definitely didn't feel like there was any threat or risk of trouble from drunk idiots. Overall a solid club, if a little crowded (physically), and would absolutely go back on a future trip.
