I needed a break so I stopped in on Tuesday night. The Northern has special events every Tuesday. This week it was Amateur Night. They had 3 contestants. Each had a 3 song set and then they did a second round with each getting a couple more songs. The entire contest took more than an hour.

Before the contest started they offered a 2 for 1 on couch dances with the regular dancers. After the contest they had Showtime, $1 quickie table dances. It lasted a couple of songs. The place was full for the contest so it was difficult to get a lot of attention unless you were close to the DJ or the stage.

Overall this is still a decent place to go. Drink prices are reasonable. A bottle of beer is $3.25. Lots of cute waitresses (next Tuesday is topless waitress night). $10 table dances are decent, good show but not much 1 way touching. $20 couch dances are a little better. Still 1 way touching. Brand new couches in the dance area. A lot of average to above average looking dancers, some natural and some enhanced. Not my favorite club, but still better than a lot in the region.
