Stopped in at the SD for...

Stopped in at the SD for the first time in about 3 years. I got free admission with paying the valet at the nearby lot ($10) which was a pretty decent deal. There is a mandatory coat check at the front door, which is a bit sketchy, and is $1. To the left as you enter is the main bar which can be a bit difficult to get to. It was a Thursday night and was a bit crowded, so it took a bit to get to the bar. Found a seat. The place looked a bit grimy. In the far back when you walk in is the ld area, and to the far left is the VIP room, which is fairly open so it isn't very VIP.

Drinks were $8 for a mixed, $6 for a canned beer, which I have found is pretty standard in RI for SC's. The dancers ranged from 3's to 7's. The women were fairly aggressive if that is your thing. There were 2 dancers on the small stage at any given time. I was approached by several dancers, but turned them down. Seems like a LD can be had for $25 a song, but seemed negotiating was on the table with each. Most of the dancers were black, which isn't really my thing. We left and headed elsewhere. Probably won't be returning.
