On my first visit to The Palace, the club was very clean, but mostly empty on a Sunday night. I only saw four total dancers there, for a huge club that could easily have had 20 on duty at the time. There were twice as many hostesses as there were dancers. I wound up approaching one dancer when she was on stage, giving her a couple of dollars and asking her to join me once she was done up there. There simply were no girls walking around, or offering to sit down.

I spoke to the dancer from the stage when she stopped by and wound up getting several excellent private dances from her. I say "private", but unless you go VIP (requiring purchase of a bottle of champagne), the private dance area is a row of comfortable chairs facing a mirrored wall. Very little real privacy, unless the row is completely empty at the time, as it was for me. Overall I was impressed with the atmosphere, but the lack of dancers was disappointing. I will return one more time on a different night to see if there is more action then.
