This review actually covers my two most recent visit to Headlights/JB's. This is one building with two clubs separated by the wall behind the bars. Headlights is beer, soda, etc. no hard liquor. JB's side has beer and hard liquor. One can move freely between the two bars without leaving the building but can not carry any alcohol between the two clubs. When JB's side is open, the dancers are the same as on the Headlights side, they just rotate between the two. You can get no contact private dances in a small room for one. The regular afternoon dancers of the last few years have disappeared for the most part. The quality of the replacements has not been up to past standards. On Tues the finest girl was my ATF Sasha, part-time bartender and now occasional dancer. Now she only dances mostly Thur and Fri afternoons. As always, she was a gem behind the bar and on the stage. I saw one other dancer that I would rate above a 5 and she was a 7.5 in my book. The club is apparently struggling to get dancers, especially now that Headlights Gold has opened up a couple of miles up the road in Portsmouth. Headlights Gold is in the old Final Frontier building. It has been renovated and is supposedly pretty posh. They supposedly have contact lap dances but I have not been there yet. Believe it does not open until 5 pm. Heard some of the Headlights crowd said they warm up here before heading up to Gold. Hear they are having a hard time getting dancers as well. Anxious to see reviews about Headlights Gold in Portsmouth. Until I get there, Headlights/JBs in Chesapeake still the best around these parts for a quick couple of cold ones and the occasional hot dancer.
