The Sundowner is a classic, one of the best-known and highest-rated clubs in Canada. The club is not far across the border so it attracts a lot of Americans who can't get into the 21+ clubs on the other side. It is also basically a tourist attraction (not a trap) because of the casinos in Niagara Falls (both Canada and the US).

There is an annoyingly minimal cover ($5 or possibly less) but it is well worth it - and really, if you're in the area you aren't there for anything else; the 'Downer isn't exactly near anything else.

Finding a table is usually difficult and the club isn't overly large, so you might want to get to the club before 11pm, especially if you're with a group of 4+. Call ahead if you can, or bribe a bouncer to help you out.
