I decided to take a break and hit Follies this afternoon(Sat.). I arrived around 2pm and joined my friend Shadowcat who had arrived about an hour before me. Since the club opens at 1pm on Sat. there were still plenty of seats available. Shadowcat had gotten a prized wall seat and had saved one for me as well. He was already enjoying the company of one of the regular dancers and her friend soon joined me. I quickly got two dances from each of them ($20 for 2) and both were good two way contact as I have come to expect at Follies. I have read several reviews lately indicating that the reviewer received poor quality dances at Follies. While there are some dancers who don't allow full contact, I would say that is the exception. If you take a few minutes to observe the dances (all regular lap dances occur on the floor) you will certainly find one that will give you the type of dance you are looking for.

The club was not busy when we arrived but by late afternoon most of the wall and table seats were occupied. There seemed to be about 30 dancers working and about twice that many customers in the audience. A lot of the cute dancers do not circulate so if they don't know you, you might have a hard time getting their attention. If you stay long enough, however, most will at least pass by you even if they don't ask for a dance. You may have to stop one of the more popular dancers. The less popular girls will usually work the crowd harder. If you are approached for a dance, or some company, and don't want one a simple "no thanks" will send them on their way. I can't ever recall a bad attitude or more pressure if you decline their request for a dance. Since there are so many girls, you will eventually find your type. The $10 price for a full nude, full contact dance is the best lap dance bargain I know of today. If for some reason you had a bad experience at Follies, you owe it to yourself to try again. Be sure to go during the day, preferably early, as the club is completely diffrent at night. There is no cover during the weekday shift and $5 day cover on Sat. and Sun. There is a $5 parking/valet charge that starts some time in the late afternoon. Nobody at the club seems to know when this starts. For all I know it may start whenever the parking guy decides to arrive. If you get ther early, this will not be an issue.

On a somewhat negative note, it does seem like the music selection is almost all hip hop/rap which I hate. I was told that the girls select their preference in music. Only once during my visit did they play anything that I enjoyed. I am going to do my next visit on a weekday and see if the music selection changes. While I don't like the music they play it is not as loud as some other clubs, and it is a small inconvenience to tolerate in an otherwise very enjoyable and affordable club. I have only done one VIP in Follies and the price is $142 for 30 minutes in a semi private area behind a beaded curtain. I left happy during my VIP and most others that I have talked to left happy to very happy, as well. I will be back soon.
