-Sigh-... I previously wrote a review saying how good the club was, but after months of working there, I have changed my mind. If you are a girl thinking about working here, I will fill you in. This review is based on how I felt before I left a couple months ago.
Auditions: Easy-peasy. This Deja Vu isn't too picky. If you are Hispanic, White, or Asian you'll most likely get hired. I have seen chicks with bellies get hired here is they are these ethnic groups. However, if you are black and happen to have chub or give off a ghetto vibe, they will not hire you. (Just saying from experience of seeing this happen). You do not need to have extravagant pole dancing skills, which is why this is a great club for beginners. Hell, they even hire people who can't dance at all!
A Few Rules for Working Here: Be on time. The club asks that you come in two times a week for 6 hours and you must put yourself on the schedule. Don't try to be slick because they are very good at keeping track of this and they will not hesitate to dock your pay. Also, this club takes 30% of what you make in lapdances. You keep any money you make on stage. Also, you must go on stage during role call... I've seen girls have to go home or get fired because they didn't. A really important tip is to pay the DJ! $5, $10, anything! You will find that the DJ's here have favorites. They will make it so their favorites go on when it isn't there turn during the peak hours of the night when there is money to be made.
