Slightly unusual visit to the Silver...

Slightly unusual visit to the Silver Cricket... this time, one of the dancers actually came over to talk to me as I was quaffing my 2-domestics for $8. We chatted pleasantly, and she said a few things that implied a very good time might be had in the VIP. Honestly, it was the subtlest sales pitch I've heard in a long time. In spite of being quite experienced (our discussion included other hard-core clubs where she had worked) she seemed hesitant to close the deal. I was enjoying the give and take and playing a little hard to get. Her number got called for the stage, and the last thing she said was "can I come back after I'm done?" I said "sure."

When her set was over, she went straight to the restroom. After quite a few minutes she came out, and went straight into the dressing room. Another dancer came up and asked me if I wanted company - miracle of miracles - and I said no, I was waiting for someone. After maybe 15 or 20 minutes she comes out of the dressing room, and sits down at another table, all the time not making eye contact. After another 20 minutes I get up and leave with my wad. I sure guess she showed me!

In general, the lack of aggressiveness on the part of the dancers here is really a trademark of the place. In a place like Bogart's or H8S every dancer on duty pretty much makes the rounds. Not sure why it's so different here.
