I am from out of town...
I am from out of town so it was my first time at this club. From previous reviews I noticed this club was formerly called Harlem Knights. When I visited on 3/10/2012, it was going by the name of Harlem Knights again.
I got to the club around 10:30 p.m. on a Saturday night. Was the only customer when I arrived; I guess it is the kind of club that gets going later in the night? The club is in an industrial area and looks pretty dumpy from the outside. But inside it is clean and very roomy. There are lots of tables and several couches along the walls plus a VIP room in the 2nd floor which I did not visit. I paid $10 to get in. There is not too much parking there but it was not an issue for me since I arrived early. Although I am not much of a drinker, the bar has a limited selection – I asked for a Heineken and I was told all they had was Budweiser and Miller Light – I got a Budweiser for $5. When you walk in the club, there is a sign there that says it’s $5 per dance (this is good and bad as I will describe later). The music and DJ were okay – the music was not too loud and the DJ was not too annoying and did not talk that much or interrupt songs trying to give his personal monologue. This is a black club and most of the customers are African American although there were a few other white customers in there as the night progressed. The crowd is a bit of a young crowd and were dressed kind of thuggish but everything was calm during the time I was there and no one was acting up.
I will describe myself a bit in order to put this review in context. I am a white Hispanic male in my early 40s and I love ebony women. I visit black SCs for the most part and have been doing so for ~9 yrs.
