I usually have to sample the local club(s) in my travels around the country, and today was no different, but I was extra excited as I found myself in Tampa, home of the world-famous Mons Venus and 2001 Odyssey. After reading about the exorbitant $20 cover at Mons, I decided to hit the Pink Pony instead. It had "new hours" and was closed, so I ended up at the 2001. Cover there was $15 at 4 pm, not $10 as the listing here states. Considering I usually pay zero, this sucked.

That 15 bucks should have been an inkling of the financial draining I was about to take. I should have just turned around to leave, in retrospect. The door girl basically demanded a tip as well. 16 bucks later, I found myself in a small club with a not-so-attractive Asian woman in her 30s with terrible fake tits on stage. Awesome. If I hadn't just been raped for 16 bucks, I probably would have just turned around and left at that point.

There were about 7 girls working. They were ok; I must admit I prefer unconventionally attractive women, though. BBWs, naturals, pale chicks, nerdy girls with glasses, etc. What 2001 had was kinda trashy, stripper-looking broads, most with tattoos and bolt-on tits. I know that I was in a Florida strip club, so that's to be expected, but whatever. Nobody there really did it for me. I was also hounded to buy a drink (Coke, no alcohol obviously) for $6, and the bartender, the most attractive girl in the place, also made some comment about tipping. Jesus Christ.
