I hadn't been to Elan's in...

I hadn't been to Elan's in awhile but was burnt out from a long several days of working in the city so decided to stop by late night on my way home. I got there about 45 minutes before last call. It was very quiet, with only about 15 guys there and about 5-10 girls working. The girls are always decent looking here -- some of them can be very good -- but tonight it was very slim pickins. Shortly after I settled at the bar with a beer, a Russian girl came up to me and just started chewing my ear off. She was pleasant, and attractive enough, and she was actually having a conversation... not the usual biding-time-'til-I-ask-you-if-you-want-a-dance bullshit. I enjoyed her and we had a nice conversation while I settled in -- it was at least 10 minutes before she asked me if I wanted a dance. By that time, I was game for it -- and her dance was really great. This place has historically been kind of minimal contact... but this was one of the better dances I've ever had there. There was lots of contact and friction right from the beginning. She even rearranged things to maximize impact. Anyway, it was a great dance... and a great 45 minutes there on my way home. Expensive at $25/dance... but this time it was worth it.
