The Cowboy Club is easy to locate but hard to find. The club’s front sign says “RACKS” with two game animal heads on either side of the sign. Does this building contain the Cowboy strip club or a taxidermist? Kinda of similar services upon reflection.

A recent Sunday visit revealed a spacious interior with the bar to the front right and pool tables to the left with a few dancers playing pool with patrons and the remainder checking text messages at the bar. There are two main stages and a couple of small ones. Most of the dancers socialized with regulars or friends. I was not solicited for a lap dance all night. It might have been my intimidating good looks, but I saw no lap dances performed the couple of hours I was there either. Stage dancing started at 9:00 pm.

On the up side, the club is a high energy club packed with cowboys and locals after 9:00 pm with several attractive and some very attractive dancers. Contact at the stage between dancer and patron varies greatly. Surprisingly, there were several women among the patrons seated at the stage who actively participated with the dancers stuffing bills under costumes and between crevices. The dancers also pulled in a surprising amount of cash while on the stage, often as much or more as a lap dance (I have some latent CPA-like quirks).
