I went to Cassidy’s Polo Club...
I went to Cassidy’s Polo Club on a Thursday evening. The parking situation is bad. Between the dancers and patrons, there is not enough parking on the premises. People were street parking on Parkside Drive west of the club. A $5 cover is assessed at the door. I chatted up the door girl for a minute because she was smoking hot. There were definitely some fuckable bartenders and waitresses too. The club is kind of cramped with tables and people. Like the parking lot, it is too small for the crowd it draws. A domestic beer would cost me $3.25, while an imported beer would cost me $3.50. The center of the room has a large stage with a center pole and seating for about twenty people. This is Stage 1. Stage 2 is small stage by the pool table in the corner of the room. This stage was surrounded by four poles in a square arrangement that allowed strippers to swing out into the crowd a bit and work standing tippers. Stage 3 is located in an elevated VIP area surrounded by couches. This stage also has a pole. Behind the VIP area is the room where private dances took place. In one corner of the club was a small store with Cassidy’s Polo Club gear, but it was locked up. They’d probably let you in there if you wanted to buy something. The bathroom was dirty; there was urine all over the floor. Thug factor was low but still present. Some fat regular named Terry tried to knock a dancer over by grabbing her as she was walking by. I think he was drunk. Another thing that bothered me was that two of the waitresses were pregnant and working in a room filled with cigarette smoke.
There were a few 4-6’s here, pretty typical stripper quality for Amarillo, but there are definitely some gems to be found here as well in the 7-10 range. Dawn is a 10 in my book: great dancer and a great body. Sadie was another knockout. Due to the fact that this club was crowded and very regular-oriented, I was not able to sample any dances. Most girls seemed to be disinterested in giving dances. In fact, I don’t think a single girl approached me in three hours. By the time the hotter dancers had finished their three stage rotation, dancing two songs at each stage, they had probably netted $60-$90. This club reminded me a lot of Brad’s Brass Flamingo in Indianapolis in terms of SOP’s. I went to the main stage and was ignored by a few girls because I did not lay my bills over the brass rail like the other customers. I guess the dancers here think a guy in a custom suit is broke if he doesn’t openly lay out his tip like miniature beach towels. Dumb. The place started to die out between midnight and one o’clock as some dancers took off early for home. The music is hip hop and rock in the form of full-length songs.
I’d probably give Cassidy’s another go as there was some good talent here, but I might skip it if it is crowded. Being a regular here would provide more traction than being from out of town.
