Curiosity got the better of me...

Curiosity got the better of me so I stopped by Don's to check it out. A $5 cover charge. A $5 beer. A quick visit to the run down, dirty bathroom. I should have worn a haz mat suit to pee! The main club was not much better-- it was smoky in spite of the State non-smoking laws. I sat at a wobbly table near the stage and disgust quickly overtook curiosity. The topless dancer on stage was at least 40 pounds over weight and the dancers that were visible around the bar were certainly not petite. One of the dancers sat down at my table, introduced herself and told me "I'm a ballerina." She must have been 180 pounds on a large frame so if she was really a ballerina, she'd need to partner with a forklift.

The only reason that my dancer rating was a 2 rather than a 1 was because one of the customers in jeans and street clothes danced for a few minutes on stage. She had a decent body and moved pretty well-- actually, she had to move pretty well to avoid being injured by the other dancer on the stage. When the customer got off stage, I headed for the door, stopping on the way out to give the customer a tip. I have no idea if lap dances were available-- didn't want to find out.

Probably the worst club that I've ever visited-- but that of course reflects my own idiosyncratic values-- I like reasonably attractive dancers who are height/weight proportional and clubs that are reasonably clean and not too smoky. But, if you're into large women in a seedy, smoky bar environment, the Don's could be your cup of tea.
