Came here for the first time...
Came here for the first time last month on a Sunday afternoon. It was AFC/NFC Championship Sunday, and I found myself driving home from western MA. I decided to make the short detour off of I-90 to have a beer, watch some football, and check the place out. I've been meaning to come here for a while, since TUSCL reviews indicate this is one of the better contact MA clubs.
It’s located right off of I-395. Very easy to get to and there was plenty of parking spaces around the building in a private lot. Got to the place around 4:30PM. Walked-in, nobody was manning the door. No cover. Bar is located immediately to the right upon entering. Main stage located to the left. It is a U-shaped stage with multiple poles. There is a main seating area a bit further in, with tables and chairs, and TVs mounted all around along the wall. They had a free buffet going. It looked to be some pretty good Italian food, pasta and meatballs. I wasn’t hungry so I did not sample.
I sat at the bar and got a Heineken draft for ~$5-6. Friendly bartenders. It was very slow afternoon. Not too many customers or dancers. Look like there were mostly regulars there using the place as kind of a neighborhood bar. Mostly blue-collar folks. There was one dancer on the stage at time, although no one was sitting at the stage, so the dancers just kind of stood there for their sets. A few customers, I’m assuming regulars, were sitting at the tables with dancers. It seemed like everyone was more interested in watching the Patriots game then anything else .
