Sunday night and the club was...

Sunday night and the club was packed, cars were stacked on Buford Highway waiting for the valet to catch up. it was only 9pm! i was surprised by all of the security - metal detector, frisked at the door, lots of beefy security guards. probably a good thing. as i left later the guards outside were armed and huge. there was also a line to get in later so glad i came early.

the club had no seats left and "reserved" signs on the tables but the waitress told me not to pay attention to that. getting a lapdance standing against the wall just isn't the same. While the dances are priced right ($10) its difficult to get settled when the club is so crowded. I used to go to this club last year on a regular basis, and it seems the thug factor was much higher now, and there is a big focus on selling bottles of liquor. music was hip hop and rap which was fine, and the DJ wasn't overbearing.

The dancers were generally 8s and 9s, and had a good attitude. the ethnicity is very mixed, and the girls seem to follow the rules and hustle wasn't a concern. i'd been there a long time ago and remember several familiar faces. VIP was a room with four couches and other couples in for 30 minutes at a time, $50 for the club and $100 for the dancer. Dances were hot but I didn't push for any extras or want any so that worked out. the VIP was almost a relief as the club was so packed you could actually relax. it seemed like most of the guys wanted to be in the club so the VIP section was very private.
