Was driving down Madison on my way to another club, and spotted Hi-Beams a block over. Figured what the heck let's stop in for some research. The club is at the corner of Getty and Elizabeth, no dedicated parking. You can park on one of those streets, or a block over. Didn't seem like the safest area but I had no problem. Frisked at the door, no cover, was told the girls are upstairs and I headed up. The club on the second floor is one room with a medium-size bar. The only seating is at/around the bar.

This is a black, urban, downscale club. Party vibe. Cozy. Loud music, DJ in the corner. Mostly black dancers, staff and clientele.

About 12 customers when I was there, including a group of white girls having fun giving singles to the dancers. One dude kept throwing bills on the stage periodically. 4 dancers, including 1 good looking and very energetic white girl, and 1 hot black girl, slim, tall, natural DD, attractive face, almost model material. I had a beer and stayed for 30 minutes. I didn't get any attention from the dancers, even when they walked around the bar after dancing. Maybe because I was not a regular and probably didn't quite fit in. There was a walkway down the back that I suspect had areas for private dances, but I didn't ask and wasn't offered. As I was leaving two couples came in. I think Hi-Beams is more of a local party place, that also has some strip club features. Not my usual scene, but it was different. I had a decent though short time, for only five bucks. Not sure I'd go back. I could be tempted to check out a private dance with the black hottie.
