I went to The Pony at 22:00 on a Saturday night. The parking lot was tight for larger vehicles, and low income housing is visible on the other side of the fence. There was a $20 cover charge after 18:00. The club does not have a liquor license, which means dancers are able to get fully nude. Only soda, water, and energy drinks are sold inside. I paid $5 for a 16.9 ounce bottle of Dr. Pepper. Since they give you a wristband when you enter, it is possible to go out to the parking lot and drink in your vehicle. The ATM has a maximum withdrawal of $800 and said it charged a $7 fee per transaction. A later review of my bank statement showed it actually charged a $24 fee on a $200 withdrawal. The interior features a two-pole island stage that is about one foot off of the ground. There appeared to be no stage contact. As a result, almost nobody tipped the stage here. This club doesn’t get going until late. Some of the dancers didn’t even arrive until almost 01:00. The Pony seems to be the rendezvous after the bars close down at 03:00 in Evansville. The Pony stays open until 05:00 on Friday and Saturday nights.
I counted about thirty dancers working on Saturday night. There was a good variety of ethnicities and body types, but no top models. The high end was 7’s and 7.5’s. The Pony definitely had its share of heavy dancers; twenty years ago, you would never have seen Size 12-16 women in this occupation. Early in the evening, there was one dancer on stage at a time with gaps where the stage was empty. As the party got crackin’ later in the night, two dancers were performing on stage on every song. Songs seemed to be clipped to three minutes. A television monitor shows the names of the dancers and their queue to go up on stage.

Private dances are $25 for one song topless, $40 for three songs topless, and $75 for two songs fully nude. Nude VIP rooms are $100 for fifteen minutes, $200 for thirty minutes, and $400 for sixty minutes. I did a couple of the fifteen minute nude VIP rooms. They take place in a large closet with a closing door. There were no cameras inside. I got two completely different experiences with different dancers. The first dancer was grinding on me nude and putting her pussy into my face. I was allowed to touch her anywhere. She hinted at extras if I was willing to give her a tip. The second dancer I took back seemed new at The Pony. She gave me air dances. There was no contact at all. She spent half of the time lying on the carpet in front of me doing floorwork that would have been appropriate on the stage. At one point it looked like she was doing sit-ups. It was so bad that I started falling asleep. Do yourself a favor and avoid Camille. It seems mileage can vary immensely here depending on the dancer.
There was a dress code sign saying no muscle shirts, bandannas, or gym shirts. They did not take issue with me wearing a muscle shirt inside. I made repeated trips out to my rig to guzzle cans of beer and nips, which the staff had no problem with. I would return to The Pony if I had business in Evansville, but this is not a destination club that you would drive any significant distance to visit.
