Illusions is no longer a nude...

Illusions is no longer a nude club. It’s topless; the laws have changed. It is BYOB if you pay the $10 cover plus $8 for a cup and be a little discrete—you can go out to the car and fill your cup. I was there on a Thursday evening from 8pm to 10pm. There were only two girls working the stage for the first hour and then around 9pm another couple of girls arrived. Three of the four girls on that night were quite attractive, but the fourth was pretty chunky. I also got the feeling that there would be no possibility of contact anywhere in the club, so I just sat and talked for a couple of hours to a real cutie who got on the stage every other song. When she first sat down, I was immediately approached by the waitress to buy her a drink; I declined and gave the $5 to the girl instead—it was appreciated. The club is only average and they do allow smoking. The music is not too loud, so it’s pretty easy to engage in conversation—but who goes to strip clubs to talk! All-in-all it’s an okay place to bring your flask and enjoy the show. I don’t think you’re going to find much action in any Missouri club. In retrospect, I wish that I had spent my evening at a topless club closer to my hotel where smoking was not allowed. If there was a shower show, it happend after I left.
