Platinum Playground is a small club...

Platinum Playground is a small club on the Black Horse Pike. I live in the area, but have previously only been to clubs in Philadelphia and Seattle, never in NJ. My preminition of a club in middle-of-nowhere South Jersey not being as good as a club in a major city proved correct. I visited at 10pm on a Friday evening. $10 cover (reduced by half with coupon from website) and thorough pat-down/wanding (arms out!) upon entry (the doorman felt up my single car key in my pocket). 2-drink minimum, bottle beer only, full bar for mixed drinks and shots. Domestic bottles were $4.50 each. Bar service quite poor, only one bartender who was inattentive and unable to hear my order. Bar faces away from stage so it's inconvenient to watch dancers from the bar. There were 6-10 girls working, ranging from quite fat to somewhat cute. No real hotties, and their outfits could have been better. Some girls had bikinis but kept readjusting them so you couldn't see too much. Despite it being 10pm on a Friday, there were only half a dozen customers, and the club was pretty dead and quiet.

The dancers were all very bored, so much so, that they commented to me how bored they were. That is a turn-off for me. Out of all the girls, only 3 stopped by to meet me at the bar. The others were sitting by themselves chatting, or sitting with a certain guy the whole night. The girls would engage in some short conversation and then say they'd be right back, but never come back. Stage dances were the worst I've seen out of the 4 clubs I've been to. Uninspired and bored. There is no stripping, the entire bikini remains on.

I got a lap dance for $20 which is pre-paid to the doorman. This bought a 4-minute dance but I was bored after the first minute. I guess the girl really wasn't hott enough, and with minimal contact/not being allowed to touch (both firsts for me out of all 4 clubs I've been to), and the fact that she just wasn't that into it, the lap dance was absolutely not worth it. I wasn't even really turned on during this dance. I will definitely not be returning to Platinum Playground.
