Went to this club a couple...

Went to this club a couple of weekends ago on a late (after midnight) Friday night. Location is formerly a Shoneys Restaurant built in the mid to late 80s. The club itself has been there for at least several years, but I have never been in there before. I used to work down the road at another business when this place was still Shoneys, so it was definitely weird to see the girls dancing on a low stage where the salad/breakfast bar used to be :)! Not 100% sure about the hours, but the sign outside did say open 7 days @ 7pm.

Anyhow, admission was $20 since it was late...apparently you can get in free or at a reduced price before 10pm. Not real sure about that and did not see anything posted at the hostess station. I saw in the other review for this club that he paid $30 and said something about a membership...I just showed them my ID, gave them my money, and went through a pat down before entering.

Ok...this is definitely an urban, hip-hop type club. I knew that going in, but have never been in a club like this before. I am an older white guy and thought that I might encounter problems, but have to say that the girls were very friendly and one of the bouncers even told me that if anyone started any crap w/me to flag him over. The impression I got was that they did not care what color you are as long as you had money to spend and did not try to start any trouble.
