I go to this place often. In my opinion, Club Rouge is one of the best overall strip clubs in Portland. Around 20-30 girls on weekends and 12-20 girls during the work week. Portland has a lot of dive bar-type strip clubs but this definitely isn't one of them. The club features two stages (like a figure eight) in the middle of the club with plenty of rack space to sit. Comfortable upholstered booth-type seating (great to just lean back, chill, watch the stages & have a nice hottie slide up right next you) is placed against the walls with tables & additional chairs right in front of that. Lap dance area is in the corner on the first floor close to the stages. The VIP dance area is upstairs with a wider open seating area (a little different), overlooks the stages and is actually lit more than downstairs (which isn't necessarily bad when you're admiring the attractive hottie sitting on your lap). During the work week, it's a great place for businessmen to go as it's one of the closest strip clubs that serves liquor to all the downtown hotels and street parking is readily available after 7pm. On weekends, it can get busier but they bring in more wait staff (as well as many more girls) to take care of the additional customers. A lot of great looking girls & most of them are actually able to offer some good conversation as well. Generally, the girls here have fewer & smaller tattoos compared to other clubs in town which is a plus in my book. Why cover up all that beauty with way too much ink? The club is only a few years old so the interior is still nice & cleaner than most clubs in town. The management continues to take care of the place and recently replaced the chairs in the lap dance area when they were just starting to get a little worn. Most clubs in town don't replace their couchs until they can't be duct taped together anymore. The standard lap dances ($20) offered here are generally the best overall value in town, in my opinion. Obviously every girl's personal style is different, but I've found treating each girl with respect & class will make that girl more comfortable with you and generally get you a much better dance. And finally, the restroom is clean & well maintained. It sounds weird but that is a major influence on how much I like a place. Nothing's worse than leaving a crummy restroom after washing you hands and yet somehow you feel dirtier than before you went in.
