I go to Baby Dolls Dallas...

I go to Baby Dolls Dallas on a somewhat regular basis. I've always had a good time there and there are always plenty of dancers to watch. A slow day at BDD means that only 3-4 of 6 the satellite stages have dancers.

I had heard a lot of good things about The Lodge so I decided to check it out. To be fair, I went during lunch on a holiday (MLK day). However, I have to say that I was really disappointed. The place was dead and there were virtually no dancers. Luckily, I didn't pay a big cover ($5 if I remember correctly).

The club is very nice. I sat down in the main room to watch the dancers on the main stage. The only problem is that there weren't any. I sat there for 3-4 songs and there were no dancers! There were maybe 3-4 other patrons in the place that I could see. Granted, it was a holiday Monday at lunch, but c'mon, this was ridiculous. Finally a dancer showed up and gave a completely lack-luster dance and then disappeared while the stage was once again empty for another song or two.
