SAMC is quite a place. Visited this establishment on several weekend nights. If you are looking for a relaxed atmosphere where you can chat with barman/waitresses and (at your leisure) enjoy the entertainment, this is your club. SAMC is very well laid out, furniture and decor is up-scale, but not over the top. On this particular evening, I went to see my club favorite, Kyra and spent an enjoyable evening getting dances at my leisure and enjoying good conversation. Of course, your mileage may vary per entertainer.

One great thing about SAMC is the wide variety of dancers available. On most weekend evenings, management has ~25-30 entertainers on rotation, with great diversity in height, shape, ethnicity and talent. Of almost all San Antonio clubs, you should be able to find your "type" at SAMC. Dances are decent mileage and though are held in a public area (couch area on far side of club), I have had no issues in enjoying good entertainment.

Although the atmosphere is great and I have never had any difficulties dealing with either waitstaff, entertainers or management, there is a palpable sense of "spend your money now!!!" at this establishment. From the moment you arrive (valet parking), enter the club (usually $10-$20 entry fee), immediately approached by waitstaff to seat you (also to get you to open a tab), to the shoe-shine man (who will ask to shine your shoes on each and every trip to men's room), to the bathroom troll, the impression one gets is that you should be paying someone to breathe air in the club. This is my only negative on this club and; if management reads these, humbly request that the hustle be dialed down a notch.
