First time coming by this place...

First time coming by this place with my buddy from college, who's a regular. Got there around 11pm. Coat check, $10 cover, and a pat down to get in. Walked into the main stage area. First impression: clean, good amount of space, good mix of a little glitz while maintaining a "local place" feel. I’m impressed so far. Lap dances are $20/song, VIP room $160 for 30 minutes. The main room area is divided in half, one half with a rectangular bar area with a stage in the middle, the other with tables/couches and another stage. Only the bar side was used that particular night and wasn't crowded. There’s a 2nd floor loft area with more comfy chairs and couches where lap dances are done.

Girls were very good looking by strip club standards, majority Russian but also a few Latina and ebony girls, and a Japanese girl (a first for me!). Possibly due to the ratio of patrons to girls (more girls per patron than typical) it wasn't long before I was approached for the first time. It was pretty continual the whole night, a little too quick for my liking since I do like to have some chill time. The girls were friendly and would make conversation (to different degrees), but getting dances was definitely the end goal. A lot of the girls would get close and grind sensually at the bar area, nice! Being my first time, I ended up getting lap dances with several of the girls. Some girls were more enthusiastic than others, but overall very good intimate grinding action.

Overall, cool atmosphere, good looking and friendly ladies, value for lap dances as expected. The pace of approaches was a little much for me, I will definitely be back during my next visit to the NYC area and would recommend Gallagher’s to almost anyone. If you don’t prefer a rapid pace of approaches, my buddy tells me on weekends the pace more deliberate.
