I've been to Scores quite a few times over the years. This place definitely has a Vegas-type look and feel to it. The cover charge as I understand can vary depending on the day, time of day and/or special events (like the Super Bowl). Sometimes you can pay $5, other times $10 and still others $20. But you can get a comp pass by going to their website and printing it out. Also if you take Blue or Red Cabs from the Oak Park area, some of the drivers will give you a comp pass.
My most recent visit was Super Bowl Sunday. Watched the game on a huge projector screen (Scores' sound system is the best in the area IMO) and got 2 beers at 5.75 each. Also enjoyed pleasant talks with several dancers and waitresses. One girl - a smoking white lady named Kelly - actually sat on my lap and stayed with me for awhile; turns out she's a huge N.Y. Giants fan and was rooting for Eli and Co. When they won we celebrated with a couple of private dances. Be advised that they are pricey ($20 if you stay in the main seating area, $30 in the private dancing room; and in both cases only limited touching - waist, hips and legs are fine; the bouncers do keep a sharp eye on all the dances.) and the DJ songs last 1 1/2-2 min at the most, but if you have the extra money to spend this is your best bet in the Chicago area; the city of Chicago itself is very lame with their clubs. Admittedly most of my time is spent at places such as Playpen and Louie's but when I get a cash surplus Scores will work for me.
