Living in Northern Virginia your SC choices are either West Virginia or Maryland. I decided to check out Taboo after having my first poor experience at the Underground. First off, Taboo is in walking distance from a large correctional facility and right off of the main highway into Martinsburg. In the afternoon there is an entry fee of a few bucks. The club is larger than the Underground, but was seriously underpopulated. I went around noon since this club supposedly had a lunch menu (unlike the Underground), and while you don't really go to a SC for the food, the quesadillas and mac'n'cheese were only fit for Guantanamo detainees. Nobody was dancing on stage for the first hour and most of the dancers stayed in a clique to themselves. One came by and was nice and sociable. I opted for a private dance and she confirmed what had been mentioned on my last Underground visit at the middle of last year. Apparently WV LEOs had made a few checks of the clubs and now a private dances were either a bikini lap dance or a nude no-touch dance. We adjourned to the main room, tipped a few dancers on stage, and took option of a few two-for-one dance specials that the DJ kept hawking. On the whole I would rather return to the Underground and just have a dancer order me pizza hut. The private rooms and set up of Taboo are bigger, but given how empty it was the whole place felt a little dead. I had at first stopped in at Divas and that place was literally empty! so I drove on to Taboos (fortunately current GPS has it pre-entered).
