Went by on Thursday night around...

Went by on Thursday night around 8PM. Place was very slow, not many dancers, only 6-8 customers. I sat down with a beer and tipped the dancers on stage for a while, but none of them really got my attention.

Then "Julie" came by and just took my hand and asked me to come with her. Normally I don't like pushy dancers, but I was generally bored, so I went along. Of course she led me straight to the VIP area where the dances are $20 instead of the floor $10. She sat me on a couch and talked for a song. Of course she promised me great things if I would buy a dance, all the while gently touching me in the most provocative places. I agreed to let her dance for me on the next song and as soon as she started, the intimate contact stopped and she proceeded to do what would be considered a tame dance out on the general floor and what I consider to be a total rip-off in the VIP. I let her continue into a second song hoping that things would improve, but the contact became even less, more boring, robotic and monotonous. I was happy to hear her name called for the stage so I took that as my exit, paid her no tip and went back to my seat. After another 3 or 4 boring stage dances I went home, unsatisfied.

I have been to TD's and had a great time, and on several occasions (like this one) have wasted my time and money. I usually get much better attention in the afternoon, the dancers aren't always the best looking, but they are usually friendly and high contact. Otherwise I have a good time late night on Friday or Saturday, but then it is usually too busy to get much personal attention. But weekday evenings are almost always a bust, don't waste your time between 6-8 since the dancers will be few and far between.
