Having only been to smaller, regional clubs or the occasional dive joint in a big city, SR was quite an experience. We went there for a friend's bachelor party, and I would recommend the free limo service they offer to get you there in style. Although the place was packed, we got a booth area with a couple of tables to comfortably seat the 8 of us. The luxury of that real estate comes with a price, though - you will have to get bottle service. But to us it was worth it to not be bumping shoulders with the crowds all night. SR is glitzy, exciting, very big, LOUD and fun - the type of club you would feel comfortable bringing your wife or girlfriend to (as opposed to some of the dingier and grungier clubs out there). In fact, at the next table over was a middle-aged husband and wife. They kept buying each other dancers and I think the wife was having as much fun as the guy.

Speaking of the dancers. There are a LOT, and for the most part they are the cream of the crop. I fell in love many times that night. Lots of beautiful, beautiful girls - many of them Russian (a weakness of mine). I recommend you grab a girl that catches your eye when you can, though. The usual strip-club advice of surveying the field I wouldn't recommend here because you might not see her again. At least not on a Saturday night with a completely packed house. I was not used to the lap dance setup, though - it threw me for a bit of a loop. The girls give you a dance right there in your chair. It's fun when you're with a big group because you get to admire the nearby action for free, but you don't have much privacy if you're the one getting the dance. There is a VIP area which I did not partake in. A buddy of mine did - he disappeared for about an hour and we were starting to get worried - but he showed up with the biggest grin on his face. I'm pretty sure his wallet was quite a bit lighter, but he was happy with the roaming he got to do. On that note, I never had the courage to explore (I've been told I have to keep my hands to myself enough in other establishments to know better), but my friends were getting away with quite a bit. How do I know? Because they were doing it right in front of me!

To sum up, SR will be my go-to club when I'm with a group of guys in Vegas. You might be able to squeeze out some more mileage elsewhere, but the eye candy and environment are exciting enough to fill up the night. One word of warning: when you get thirsty, prepare to get fleeced. I think we paid $40 for a 6-pack of bottled water.
