I've seen a bunch of reviews for IS lately so I returned to the scene of the crime to see for myself if the club had improved. It's a bit of a drive from Chicago and a real trek if you live on the north side as I do. You wouldn't want to head out during the afternoon rush. The club is located in a little semi deserted/semi industrial part of Hammond (though I think that is a good description for all of Hammond. As you get closer you'll see a sign that says "This Is It" and you'l see an out of place plastic palm tree.

It's a juice bar so come prepared if you feel the need to drink. The interior is nice with a few quirks. The main one being their tired policy of have some nice seating near the main stage that you have to pay extra to sit in. While I had a good time I want to make one thing clear. This is a lap dance factory. You are not going to have a special, intimate or gfe experience at this place. You are going to have a high contact lap dance each an every time. But it's that lack of possibilities that I think brings IS down a notch. With that said I have never visited the small vip upstairs but from everything I've read it's not worth it. So is this worth the drive from Chicago? That's a maybe - I would probably suggest you explore the clubs on the southside first or head west to Polekatz instead.
