I hadn't been to Club Atlantis...

I hadn't been to Club Atlantis for a few months and definitely noticed some changes this time. Although the bar predominately features AA dancers, this time it was virtually all-black. Of the 15 or so dancers, only a couple were Latino and 1 white (and she was from out-of-town). In addition, security was really beefed-up during this visit with the bouncers walking around frequently and keeping a close eye on things. A couple of the dancers told me management was cracking down on extra-curricular activities.

Many of the girls were pure hustle, coming around numerous times for tips even though they hadn't just danced. This may be because, as i saw due to my vantage point, very few dances were requested in either the private or more open area. And this was during a prime period on a Saturday night! There was a lot of socializing and chatting with the girls, but very few customers asking for dances. I waited awhile for a girl to come back around (I promised her a dance), but she became so caught up with her socializing that she never came back. I probably will not come back to this bar as it was a depressing experience.
