Macombo Lounge is a small, AA, neighborhood bar type establishment.

I arrived on a Thursday evening around 7pm. There’s no cover and no waitress that I could see. At Macombo you won’t be pressured to buy or purchase a drink. If you’re thirsty, you’d better make your own way to the bar or you’ll stay parched.

There were about 12 dancers and they ranged from 4s to one 9. Most were 6s and 7s. I sat at the bar, directly facing the 1st stage. These are the best (and most expensive) seats in house. They’re the best because you have good views of both stages. Because the bar faces stage 1, you’re expected to tip well. Another benefit is that when the dancers transact business at the bar, they have to squeeze in next to you. I was able to meet several dancers up close and personal just by my choice of seat.
