I went to Brad’s on a Tuesday evening. Most of the tables were occupied, but the K-Mart crowd was in the building. Some girls got no stage tips, while others were lucky to get a couple bucks. As mentioned by others, the dance prices have jumped to $20. You pay the dancer $15 and the house’s cashier $5. This has taken away the value this place once had and put the Brass Flamingo on par with most other clubs in Indianapolis. There are rumors the price increase is just through the Super Bowl, and dance prices will drop after the crowds leave town. Who knows? One sure thing is that the private dance benches, which have always been busy on all of my previous visits here, were completely empty. There is a renovation going on at the club as well. Between the DJ booth and the cashier, the wall is knocked out. The word on the street is that this addition will be a new $200 VIP area.

There were about thirty dancers working, and they ran the gamut. Some girls were too old to be in this profession, while others seemed to be wet behind the ears. Quality was anywhere between a 3 and a 9. I tipped four girls well at the stage and told them to come get me at my table. None came to visit. In fact, two even sat with cuckold boyfriends at adjacent tables. It is typical for this club. I noticed many girls would do their stage set, then sit with their regs/boyfriends/pimps until their next stage set. The VIP and dance benches were vacant with an occasional exception. I did manage to get a couple hot dances from a brunette spinner, but otherwise left this place unimpressed.

I have a couple knocks on BBF. I gave a waitress a few Jacksons for singles and it took her 15 minutes to bring me back the Washingtons; I had thought she forgot and had to hunt her down. It is pretty ignorant of her to go serve other tables before completing an open transaction. The other negative here is that thug factor is starting to explode: tons of straight-billed ball caps and oversized white t-shirts. I have never seen so many wiggers in one place. Probably the funniest thing I saw was a skinny white dancer sitting with a bunch of porchmonkeys all night. On her back is a tattoo that says Raptown’s Finest. With the dance price increase, regulars-only mindset of many dancers, and exploding thug factor, Brad’s Brass Flamingo is downtrending.
