The number one thing that distinguishes Desire from other clubs in Providence is Desire is clean. I've been to many other clubs in RI, and the only club that came close was Fantasies.

Upstairs at LUST, the atmosphere is friendly, spacious, and most of all clean. Even the third floor cigar bar with pool table is always clean. Downstairs there are two stages, two bars, an open lap dance area, a few semi-private stalls, and a champagne room. These spaces are usually clean enough. An outside smoking area is under the highway and therefore somewhat noisy, but in the summer, it is a great place to see (under natural light) the girls while you talk with them sharing a drink and a butt.

The dancers vary, mostly white, a couple of hispanic, one or two asians, occasionally a black girl. The appearance varies from the cartoonish barbie doll stripperellas to the all natural beauties, to some more like the girl next door. Not all 10's but more than enough 8's of varying height, hair color, ink etc to appeal to varied tastes. The dancers at Desire are the reason most come and if you can break through to recognized status, several of the dancers will work with you to be sure you have a good time. As with all clubs, and individual dancer YMMV in the lap dances, or champagne rooms, but at Desire, with the right attitude maximum mileage is within reach from a variety of various dancers.
