Live and work nearby to Wonderland...

Live and work nearby to Wonderland and have been wanting to check it out for some time. Over the years, there have been others clubs here, but none have survived for very long. Wonderland is a beautiful club. They definitely try to be upscale and do a very good job at it. The staff is very polite/courteous and the decor and very nice. That being said, it is more expensive than any other strip club around. Mandatory $5 valet (you can park in the ghetto around the corner if you are adventurous), $20 cover charge, and expensive drinks. Also, lap dances are $30 as opposed to the more typical $25, but some dancers are negotiable. I went on a Wednesday night. There was a small upscale crowd. Only the upstairs section was open, but there appeared to be a large downstairs stage area as well. Music was way too loud. Tables are crowded around a couple of small stages. There weren't a ton of girls, but the ones that were there were generally attractive (6-9 out of 10) and very friendly. Had several dancers come by and sit on my lap to chit chat. Not too pushy like at some other clubs. Had two private lapdances. Both dances were good quality with liberal touching and grinding. Overall, I think the club has a lot potential, but it a little too expensive for my taste. I hope the club survives. I will come back, but I don't expect it to be a regular place for me.
